Pål Engebretsen appointed as Executive Vice President of Bergen Group ASA

 

- Strong growth in orders in the offshore and the shipbuilding segments, and at the same time a need for synergy extraction, has generated a need for extended competence in top management. Engebretsen’sexperience is very relevant for our tasks going forward, says  CEO Roger Simmenes. The appointment is part of a plan for strengthening the organization and the management in the company.

 

Engebretsen comes from the position as CEO of Fosen Yards and has been the main architect behind the large and successful restructuring of the company during the last two years. He has broad experience from various top management positions, e.g. from the supplier industry to the energy sector. Engebretsen holds several board positions.
