Naming of unique ship from Bergen Group Fosen

On Mondaty December 15th yard number 79, BOA Thalassa, from Bergen Group Fosen will be named and delivered to BOA Offshore. The ship is the first ship in the world purpose built for the electromagnetic energy technology delveloped by EMGS ASA for seabed logging for oil and gas.
The owner of the ship is BOA Offshore and the project represent a major lift for the offshore and shipping industry in Mid-Norway, as three local companies are represented: BOA Offshore as owner, EMGS as operator and Bergen Group as builder.
Godmother for the vessel is Rigmor Eidesmo, whife of Terje Eidesmo, CEO of EMGS.
